Hamilton, Rise Up! was a one-semester adventure aiming to bring together undergraduates and graduates from the English department of Sorbonne University. Auditions and rehearsals took place remotely on Zoom though they were able to reunite temporarily with masks in the Sorbonne’s Richelieu amphitheater. The project was funded by the Sorbonne’s English Department and Initiative Théâtre, with technical support from the Service Culturel de la Faculté des Lettres.
